General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,
Thanks for posting in HCM.
I understand your concern.
The following inferences can be drawn based on the semen analysis report you have enclosed.
1. pH is at the lower limit of normal range.
2. Sperm count is acceptable, but appears little less.
3. Sperm motility appears to be main problem as actively motile sperms are 20%, which should have been ideally more than 50%.
In any case, it would be advisable for him to take medications containing L-carnitine, Alpha lipoic acid, CoQ10, Vitamin C, Vitamin E, Selenium, Zinc and Lecithin as ingredients for a month and repeat semen analysis to look for improvement.
Kindly consult Infertility specialist with the report for further evaluation and management.
Hope the information provided would be helpful.
All the best.
